Power Raking

Power raking is one of the biggest differences between a true restoration process and simply spreading gravel over existing problems. A power rake helps:

• pull buried stone back to the surface
• loosen compacted fines
• break apart potholes
• remove surface inconsistencies
• reset the top layer
• prepare the driveway for reshaping

This allows the existing surface to be properly reworked instead of simply buried underneath fresh material.

In many situations, power raking can dramatically improve a driveway before any new gravel is even added.
