23A Limestone
23A limestone is a smaller compactable aggregate commonly used where a tighter, smoother finish is desired. It generally contains smaller stone sizes than 21AA.
Advantages:
- smoother driving surface
- tight finish
- excellent compaction
- comfortable for residential driveways
Potential drawbacks:
- may not perform as well in extremely soft conditions
- not always ideal for heavier structural correction alone
